Curious enough to explore?
Up to a certain point, not beyond.
Yet, drawn into the depths
the quicksand takes hold.

Boldness in this adventure
is akin to foolishness.
The folly of the fool
will only lead further
down the rabbit hole.

Redeem my soul.

  1. The older I get, the more I feel some of the answers might actually be down that rabbit hole. 😉 I like the pondering in this, but these days I might just say go for it!

  2. I agree! There is a time for rabbit holes, and a time to write up your damn thesis! I have two students writing up at the moment, and one is still firmly wedged in a rabbit hole. The problem with uninformed curiosity or wildly going down rabbit holes is that even if you find something, you almost certainly wont know what it means.
