poem: Heir

We will bow in due time
to the righteous heir of the throne.

Until then, the way is paved for us;
so, let us help others along the way.

Lest the new normal bring complacency,
may we transcend the status quo.

Settle for nothing less than a vision
of the future, under G-d’s rule.

When His Kingdom is established,
by the One who appears from the clouds.

The two witnesses wil decry the apostasy,
and strengthen our moral resolve.

Moses and Elijah, steadfast in their faith,
will serve to remind us of the truth.

poetry: Afterglow

this is the calm before the storm,
for those who take refuge in the makom,
while sheltering in place, reflecting
upon what is essential in life.

the afterglow of sanctity will strengthen
all, who look towards shomayim (heaven)
in anticipation of the final call, the Geulah
when the shofar will resound across the world.

Redemption is at hand: Moshiach awaits,
the moment of revelation will arrive;
his reign from Jerusalem will stretch all
around this Planet, from the east to the west.

poem: Surrender

My heart is surrendered unto You.
Your Kingship, I have accepted forevermore.
Your lasting value was made known to me,
within a moment of eternity.

Now, in looking down from Shomayim (Heaven),
I am filled with the love that was bestowed upon me.
Carry my family in the grace that was shown to me;
cradle them in Your mercy until the perfect day.

Words

Watch your words,
for words have reverberations.
Watch your back,
for past ways that are errant.
Look forward to the future,
when Moshiach will reign.
Look Above to His throne,
until Heaven on Earth.

When G-d created the world,
no thought was wasted.
Every word was spoken,
in truth and sincerity.
Each word blossomed,
from potential to actuality.
His ratzon (will) was fulfilled,
at the moment of utterance.
